Pakistan has decided to relocate the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) from Karachi to Islamabad, according to ARY News. Both organizations will move from Karachi Airport to Islamabad Airport, with a temporary headquarters being built at Islamabad Airport to facilitate the immediate transition.
Oversight and Timeline
A seven-member committee, comprising officers from both PAA and CAA, has been formed to manage the transfer. Sadiq Rehman, Deputy Director General of the Airports Authority, will chair the joint committee, which will also determine the site for the temporary headquarters.

Both organizations currently operate out of Karachi. Their regional offices across the country will continue functioning as usual, meaning the relocation affects administrative headquarters only, not day-to-day operational or regional oversight.
